Phone Interview
Upon submission of your application, our dedicated recruiting team will reach out to you to schedule an introductory phone interview. The interview is expected to last up to 20 minutes, during which our team will ask a series of carefully crafted questions to understand your work history, experience, and qualifications. This is an exciting opportunity for us to evaluate whether you are an excellent fit for The Nanny Tribe and find the best way to work together.
Face to Face Virtual Interview
Proceeding to the next steps in our interview process, we will invite you to a more in-depth virtual interview. This will allow us to get to know who you are and learn about your skills, qualifications, and experience. We’ll delve deeper into your background, goals, and expectations. You can expect to spend approximately 60-90 minutes with us. This is an essential step in the process; we want to ensure enough time to cover all the necessary details. We aim to find the right match for you and the family .
Onboarding
After completing the virtual interview, we would love to welcome you to The Nanny Tribe. As the next step, our team will request that you sign an agreement outlining our expectations to fulfill the requirements of working with our agency. We want you to feel confident and secure in your decision to join us. Therefore, we will also provide clear instructions and guidance on any necessary documentation needed to ensure a seamless onboarding process. Once all the required paperwork is completed, we can provide you with referrals to families eager to meet you and welcome you into their homes.
Reference check and work history confirmation
The Nanny Tribe will take the necessary steps to ensure that your work history is accurately verified. We encourage you to inform your professional references and previous employers about our inquiry, as it will expedite the onboarding process.
Please note that we require all references to match your professional work history. We do not accept work history involving friends and family, babysitting during high school, or any work experience acquired while under 18 years old.
Family Interviews
Our industry knowledge and expertise enable us to provide specific guidance for your job search. We introduce you to families that align with your values and work style while ensuring you feel comfortable throughout the interview and working trial phases. We understand that one professional nanny’s preferences may differ from another’s, which is why we offer the flexibility of a virtual face-to-face interview or an in-person meeting.
We will guide you throughout each phase to ensure that you are finding the best fit for your expertise and your long-term work family.
Job offer
With the necessary knowledge and experience to guide you through the official hiring process and ensure that you understand your rights, responsibilities, and the family’s expectations, we will always be there every step of the way. The Nanny Tribe will establish fair employment practices for you and the family to ensure everyone feels valued. Moving forward, we will offer support during a 30-day trial period, providing you more time to get to know the family and tailor the arrangement to everyone’s needs. We will also have a team that will negotiate agreements on your behalf.
