Family Assistants typically work full-time, between 40 and 50 hours per week, with schedules tailored to each family's unique needs. Whether you need a traditional Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or an afternoon/evening schedule from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., we’ve got you covered. Our boutique team will partner with you to determine the perfect schedule that best suits your needs and lifestyle.

Family Assistants are the true superheroes of household management, seamlessly blending childcare with various other responsibilities. Most Family Assistants provide mild childcare, drive the children to and from school and activities, coordinate with teachers, tutors, and coaches, run errands, drop off dry cleaning, handle the grocery shopping, help with simple meal prep, assist with organizational projects, and tackle the family to-do list. Some additional tasks our clients have asked their Family Assistants to handle include booking travel, researching summer camps, coordinating the mailing of holiday cards, decorating for holidays, providing pet care, booking appointments, organizing household repairs, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring the family vehicles are cleaned and serviced. These versatile helpers adapt to your family's unique needs, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

Our team will partner with you to develop a competitive compensation package tailored to your family’s needs. Rates for Family Assistants vary based on the candidate’s experience, position duties, preferred schedule, location, and travel and flexibility required. Current rates range from $40 to $60 per hour. In addition to their wages, most full-time Family Assistants receive benefits such as guaranteed hours, two weeks of paid vacation, paid holidays and sick days, and a health insurance stipend.
